This performance’s the culmination of an identity crisis of what dance is and can be when there are two opposite binaries residing in my body and the research done to see if it is possible to express them at the same time; contemporary dance and Chilean folklore.

The research has been both personal and mind-opening to my surroundings. I have looked into the why’s and how’s of my movements; my inspirations, my goals, my (self-put) limitations.

This is my body; dancing, moving, sharing; trying to communicate, trying to express, trying to show my periphery and my center, figuring out what is at what end, and trying to combine them.
